‘Making Sparks Fly’ is a science show presented by Albert & Elizabeth. It will be packed with live demonstrations of all the ways we can think of to make electric sparks – and the bigger, the better! We will attempt everything from the well-know. 100,000 volt sparks of the Van de Graaff generator to the less well-known ball lightning in a microwave oven, from melting glass with mains electricity to the gherkin table lamp. Invite your friends – all are welcome to the Sanctuary for a memorable evening of excitement and education.
